Mobile Security Supervisor (Full Time) Schedule: 12-hour shifts - 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused security professional for the position of Mobile Security Supervisor (Full Time).


The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for field staff support and supervision. Strong knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures will be required.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support mobile and static security staff during assigned shifts
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing coaching to new and current mobile staff regarding patrol procedures and alarm investigations
  • Assist with alarm response and building patrols
  • Liaise between clients and site staff in emergency situations
  • Conduct staff follow-ups regarding performance and disciplinary matters
  • Respond to employee emergencies, injuries, or workplace incidents and document accordingly
  • Conduct regular patrols, dispatch, and respond to alarms at client properties
  • Ensure operational tools, vehicles, and systems are functional; report any maintenance issues
  • Coordinate site activity and shift coverage; lead shift briefings
  • Provide exceptional customer service and promote a professional company image

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the security industry
  • Valid BC Security License
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
  • Advanced Security Training (AST) is an asset
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 (or Basic First Aid) certification required
  • Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (including phone, email and report writing)
  • Strong computer skills (including use of Tracktik software)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients
  • Strong organizing and planning skills
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Good physical condition
