Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Production Supervisor for our Milling division based in Cambridge, ON. P&H MillingP&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.

- Manage the planning, scheduling and execution of the production schedule including daily delegation of tasks for our packing lines and bulk loading bins.
- Maintain a strict control over inventory levels to meet internal and external demand of product.
- Work with Logistics to ensure all bulk production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules.
- Promotes company vision and supports plants culture both in Food Safety and H&S.
- Supervise a team of Material Handlers, including delegation, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and/or hazardous materials.
- Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
- Ensure and maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Identify discrepancies between inventory records and act.
- Assists in audits and corrective actions when required.
- Collaborate with Head Miller/Assistant Head Miller to provide 24/7 on call coverage for the Hanover facility.
- Act as coverage for Warehouse Supervisor and all functions as needed.
- Assist with daily monitoring of milling equipment and milling efficiency.
- Training of employees.
- Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in packing, warehousing, or logistics
- Familiarity with BRCGS, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of maintenance processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning
- P.Log or similar certifications are considered an asset
- Experience in flour milling is considered an asset
