Primary Job Title: Finance Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 2 days a week, need to be flexible w/ days in office)Date Posted: 7/16/2025

Salary Range: C$30 - C$35/Hr
Summary of Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Work with the Business Analyst to meet with business units and obtain requirements for updating Excel reconciliations on the Oracle platform
• Set up reconciliations on the Oracle platform, including reporting and testing
• Support ad hoc project needs

Must Have:

• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Strong Excel skills – Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs
• Finance experience

Nice to Have:

• Testing experience
• Experience with Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud System
• Banking industry experience

Position Summary:The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information. The analyst typically conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. This role is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports
• Analyze financial data to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions
• Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• The capability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Economic and accounting principles
  • Financial markets
  • Financial data reporting
  • Federal, provincial, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required
• An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred
• 2–4 years of financial and/or accounting experience required
