Work Environment:Primarily remote across Canada, with optional access to our Burnaby HQ.

Summary

Were looking for aVice President of Salesto join our leadership team and lead our global growth journey. Reporting to the President & CEO, youll work collaboratively with others to execute on our sales strategy, scale our high-performing team, and drive growth across new and existing markets.

Youll drive solution sales across Microsofts partner ecosystem, working with System Integrators (SIs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), while growing our partner network and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver impact.

This role is ideal for a sales leader with experience in SMB and enterprise software, who has successfully sold both products and services in partner-led environments.

What You Will Do

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Refine and lead the execution of Binary Streams sales strategy across both direct and partner-led channels, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Strengthen and lead a high-performing sales team of 15+ professionals, providing clear direction, support, and development to ensure individual and team success.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and ensure the team has the tools, processes, and support needed to meet them.
  • Evolve the sales organization through thoughtful resource planning, territory design, and scalable team structures.
  • Support strategic deal planning and guide the team through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to close high-value opportunities.

Sales Operations

  • Scale structured, repeatable sales processes that drive accountability, efficiency, and results through clear metrics and reporting.
  • Lead compensation and incentive program design that aligns with business goals and motivates high-performing teams.

Partner Ecosystem

  • Own and lead our global partner strategy across the Microsoft ecosystem and key channel partners (System Integrators (SIs) and Independent Software Venders (ISVs), driving joint growth and market expansion.
  • Build and scale trusted partnerships that accelerate co-selling and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Represent Binary Stream at industry events and executive engagements to elevate brand presence and build strategic relationships.

Market Expansion & Alignment

  • Lead international growth initiatives by aligning sales execution with strategic priorities in key markets, including Europe.
  • Partner with Product, Development, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure go-to-market strategies are customer-centric and market-responsive.

What You Bring

Experience & Expertise

  • Sales leader with 10+ years in software sales and 5+ years building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experienced in ERP or related business software environments, with a strong understanding of mid-market and enterprise customer segments.
  • Proven ability to sell both software products and professional services.
  • Experienced in leading and scaling sales organizations of 15+ team members in companies with annual revenues exceeding $20M.
  • Experienced in working with channel partners and System Integrators (SIs), with a strong track record of building, growing, and strengthening relationships across the partner ecosystem.
  • Proficient in CRM strategy and execution, with a track record of using tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce to drive sales performance and operational efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits

At Binary Stream, we understand that competitive compensation matters. Thats why we benchmark annually against Canadas tech sector to ensure our salary ranges remain current and compelling.

Base Salary Hiring Range: $168,000 $215,000 CAD
This range reflects a starting point for a new hire in this role. The final offer will be based on your experience, skill set, and the unique value you bring. In exceptional cases, compensation above this range may be considered.

Sales Executive Bonus Opportunity

This role includes a specific sales executive bonus, ranging from25% to 35% of base salary, tied to strategic sales objective outcomes that result in measurable business impact reflecting executive accountability for revenue and overall company performance.

Annual Performance-Based Bonus:

Employees are eligible for an annual performance-based bonus that reflects both individual performance and company-wide results.
