This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Key Media. We are currently looking for an Event Sponsorship Sales Executive in Toronto, Ontario.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for a driven sales professional eager to work in the dynamic world of B2B events. You'll play a pivotal role in generating sponsorship revenue for both virtual and in-person events, working closely with leading brands across North America. The role offers a collaborative and fast-paced environment where your creativity, relationship-building skills, and strategic thinking will directly contribute to the success and growth of high-profile business events. Accountabilities:

  • Drive sponsorship sales for a portfolio of large-scale B2B events across North America.
  • Sell both virtual and in-person event sponsorship packages using proven sales methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through calls, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
  • Identify, pitch, and tailor sponsorship opportunities to meet client goals and maximize value.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sponsored event deliverables.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in sponsorship, events, media, or advertising.
  • Degree-level education is an asset, but a passion for sales and a proactive attitude are just as important.
  • Strong ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, client-focused presence.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
  • Interest or background in large-scale events, entertainment, or corporate functions is a plus.
  • Creative thinker with strong initiative and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Resilient, enthusiastic, and results-driven personality with a genuine passion for event sponsorship.
