People Product Marketing Consultant $55$62 CAD/hr | Remote, Canada (Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta) | 12-Month Assignment
Are you a strategic storyteller who knows how to turn complex programs into compelling narratives? Were looking for a People Product Marketing Consultant to drive high-impact internal marketing efforts that inspire, inform, and align employees across a dynamic organization.
In this full-time, 12-month assignment, youll serve as the lead internal product marketer for a suite of critical People programs. You'll shape messaging strategy, create go-to-market plans, and help define the voice of People initiatives that affect thousands of employees. Your work will directly influence engagement, adoption, and clarity across the organization.
This is a hands-on opportunity to build from the ground up, working cross-functionally with internal comms, HR, enablement, and leadership teams to craft stories that drive behavior change and cultural connection.
- What You'll Do:
- Build and evolve a cohesive People team narrative that ties together programs and strategy
- Define key personas and leverage insights to inform tone, messaging, and engagement strategies
- Conduct internal research to gather employee sentiment and behavioral data
- Map critical employee journeys to identify key communication moments
- Partner with stakeholders to shape messaging for high-priority People initiatives
- Lead the development of toolkits, frameworks, and communication templates
- Guide content creation across channels (decks, one-pagers, launch briefs, etc.)
- Tailor messaging by audience to increase clarity, understanding, and program adoption
- Support change initiatives with strategic storytelling and empathy
- Monitor adoption metrics and iterate based on employee feedback
- What You Bring:
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, communications, or internal marketing
- Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams
- Strong go-to-market experience for programs, launches, or internal campaigns
- Experience crafting clear, actionable messaging in ambiguous or fast-paced environments
- Executive-level communication and storytelling skills
- Deep understanding of employee experience and behavior-driven communication
- Passion for turning internal programs into human-centered, engaging experiences
- Bonus Points:
- Experience in high-growth tech or SaaS companies
- Familiarity with HR or People programs
- Change Management (e.g., Prosci) or PMP certification
