As an Appliance Sales Professional, you will play a critical role in delivering a seamless and positive buying experience. This position focuses on maximizing sales performance, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

This is a commissioned based role, with great expectations of making decent money.

Locations

Vaughan, Ontario, and Whitby, Ontario

Stoney Creek, London, Kitchener and St. Catharines

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales through in-store, phone, and email interactions with customers
  • Greet customers and assist them with product selection based on their needs
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to confidently present and recommend appliances
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders using ePASS system
  • Prepare quotes, confirm pricing, availability, and applicable rebates
  • Participate in vendor training, product knowledge sessions, and merchandising activities
  • Handle customer payments, deposits, and process cash sales when required
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer communications and transactions
  • Follow up on customer quotes and inquiries to support the full sales cycle
  • Attend and represent the company at trade shows, events, and open houses when required
  • Collaborate with store managers and team members to support store sales objectives
  • Provide after-sales support and help resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly retail environment
  • Stay informed about market trends, new products, and competitor offerings

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail sales preferred (appliance or home product experience is an asset)
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Windows, and CRM/order entry systems
  • Capable of explaining technical product features and benefits to a wide range of customers
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven with a strong work ethic
  • Strong problem-solving and objection-handling skills
  • Able to travel occasionally for sales events or training
