Our Scarborough client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of fire protection equipment, is looking for a Kitchen System Fire Suppression Specialist to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Support sales efforts by preparing quotes and proposals
• Deliver presentations to clients and partners
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and installers
• Assist with developing and improving inventory and distribution practices
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 17A/96 standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work
• Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and respond to any code compliance requirements
• Collaborate with internal departments to support product development
• Bring fresh ideas, take initiative, and anticipate needs without waiting for instructions
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-5 years in Sales, Installation, or Development of Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems
• Strong understanding of fire suppression systems
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Be a strong team player, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Strong time management and organization skills

Bonus Qualifications:

• Valid certifications for systems such as KIDDE, Ansul, or Pyro-Chem (asset)
• Working knowledge of NFPA 17A/96 standards (asset)
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation (asset)

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Salary: $65,000 to $85,000 per annum (based on experience)
