Our Scarborough client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of fire protection equipment, is looking for a Kitchen System Fire Suppression Specialist to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Support sales efforts by preparing quotes and proposals
- Deliver presentations to clients and partners
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and installers
- Assist with developing and improving inventory and distribution practices
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 17A/96 standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work
- Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and respond to any code compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal departments to support product development
- Bring fresh ideas, take initiative, and anticipate needs without waiting for instructions
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-5 years in Sales, Installation, or Development of Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems
- Strong understanding of fire suppression systems
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a strong team player, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Strong time management and organization skills
Bonus Qualifications:
- Valid certifications for systems such as KIDDE, Ansul, or Pyro-Chem (asset)
- Working knowledge of NFPA 17A/96 standards (asset)
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation (asset)
Compensation and Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Salary: $65,000 to $85,000 per annum (based on experience)
