What You'll Bring:

  • License & Driving: A full “G” Class Driver's License with a clean driving record and the ability to drive trucks up to 24 feet.
  • Education: Minimum secondary school diploma.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in customer service.
  • Can-Do Attitude: A proactive approach to challenges and a willingness to go the extra mile for customers and teammates.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to meet branch goals and maintain high levels of staff performance and morale.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, handling clients professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Sales & Revenue Optimization: Track record of achieving sales targets, upselling rental products/services, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Operational Efficiency: Skilled in streamlining rental operations, managing fleet logistics, reducing turnaround time, and maintaining vehicle quality and availability.
  • Fleet Management: Experience in vehicle inventory control, maintenance scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical thinking and ability to make sound, timely decisions under pressure.
  • Financial & Budget Management: Proficient in managing budgets, controlling costs, preparing financial reports, and analyzing branch performance metrics.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; skilled at building relationships with customers, team members, and senior leadership.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiar with rental management systems (e.g., TSD, Rent Centric), CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital reporting tools.
  • Industry Experience: Car and truck knowledge is an asset.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the branch in day-to-day Rental Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate and coach team of customer service representatives to meet company standards and goals.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, understanding their rental needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze branch performance reports, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to senior management.

  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales targets, identify opportunities for business growth, and implement strategies to increase revenue.

  • Rental Expertise: Guide customers through the rental process, from qualifying drivers to opening and closing rental agreements. Handle all transactions accurately, including billing, invoicing, and payment processing to ensure seamless service.
  • Fleet Management: Inspect returned rentals thoroughly to assess condition, document any damages, and ensure they're cleaned and prepared for the next customer. Organize vehicles based on availability, perform minor maintenance checks, and coordinate necessary repairs with our service team.
  • Health and Safety: ensure branch compliance with OHS, and company policy and safety standards.
