GENERAL MANAGER - Pump & Air Compressor Company

Mission:

To maintain and grow the company in the air compressor and pump market in the GVRD.

Salary:

$120,000 annually

Company deals with:

Sales, service, repairs, overhaul, installations, and troubleshooting

Industrial screw compressor systems ranging from 3-250HP

Industrial piston compressors systems ranging from 2-25HP

Air treatment / dryers for air compressor systems

High pressure piston compressor systems

Pump stations - Water, process, golf irrigation

Pumps - in house overhauls of various makes / models of pumps

Duties:

Lead a team of 4-5 technicians

Assist onsite with projects as required

Quoting projects

Weekly / Monthly planning

Maintain customer relationships

Generating new sales

Respond to new leads as they develop

Find new ways of improving workflow

Track projects

Plan projects

Checking on finished projects / invoices

Report to ownership directly

Qualifications:

Industry experience with pumps and/or air compressors is required

Overall mechanical aptitude necessary

Self driven with a positive outlook

Team leadership experience required

Ability to use basic computer programs with minimal teaching
