Brand Ambassador (Event Activation Specialist)
Job Type: Part-time, Contract (1-day event)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to support an exciting and engaging Bigbox re-opening event. This event is designed to thank bigbox shoppers for their loyalty during the store's construction period.
Location: 3655 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K 2G6
Rate: Starting at $20/hr
Date: Saturday August 2nd
Time: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (inclusive of setup and cleanup)
Training: TBD
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a PLINKO board game, engaging with customers while they play.
- Distribute prizes and create a fun, welcoming environment for attendees.
- Kit prizes prior to the event, following provided guidelines.
- Manage the activation setup and cleanup process independently.
- Ensure smooth and engaging interactions with shoppers to enhance their experience.
- Use a company card to activate and purchase necessary items for the event
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
- Ability to confidently engage with diverse groups of people.
- Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and able to manage responsibilities independently.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs for setup and cleanup duties.
- Must have reliable transportation to the event location.
