FACTORY HEAVY MACHINERY ASSEMBLY

The factory general labour position is responsible for working as part of a team assembling components for large automotive lifting equipment. They are responsible for maintaining the workflow and operating the machinery required to safely handle and transport items. They may also be required to operate machinery to transport materials between shipping and loading docks.

Must reside within 30km or less of our facility and be capable of commuting daily to work.

On site training will be provided

Premium paid for persons with comparable experience

Operate a winch, or other machinery used for transporting or moving materials.

Ability to regularly lift heavy objects

Exceptional organization skills

• Fluent in reading and writing English
• Experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials.
• Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Relocate items within the warehouse or factory.
• Operate a forklift, winch, or other machinery used for transporting or shipping materials. (TRAINING PROVIDED)
• Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Fork Lift Certificate required ( will provided training) - G License an asset (clean abstract)
• Mon-Fri 8:00 – 4:30

Salary: $19.50-$21.50 per hour

Experience:

• factory or warehouse: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person

Day Shift Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with overtime available.

Afternoon Shift Mon-Fri 4:30 pm-1:00 am (Shift Premium for Afternoon Shift)

Reliable transportation required
