We are looking to add a Labourer to our team.
Position Title: Labourer
Reports to: General Superintendent
Department: Projects
Work Location: Leduc, AB and the surrounding area

Position Summary
The Labourer is responsible for supporting operators and supervisors to work safely and
efficiently by cleaning the site, moving materials, and performing routine maintenance on
tools and equipment. Labourers may be responsible for the safe operation of equipment,
Worksites are located throughout Western, Canada with a specific focus on Pipeline Integrity Digs, Demolition and Remediation and Reclamation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning of construction sites.
Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment, loading and unloading
equipment.
Safe and effective operation of heavy equipment in the completion of various projects throughout western, Canada.
Working with hand tools, moving materials on construction sites, and assisting other
workers.
Experience in oilfield waste management, heavy equipment and valid industry safety tickets are an asset.

  • Capable of operating small equipment such as skid steer, packer and loader

Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Some heavy lifting and physically demanding duties are required.

Qualifications
Experience in oilfield waste management.
Heavy equipment and valid industry safety tickets are an asset.
Must have steel toe work boots.
Ability to work varying shifts and hours.
Must be available and willing to work in various terrains, weather conditions, and in
isolated locations accessed by various means of transportation.
Must be able to work as a part of a team, as well as independently with little direction
or supervision.
Must be reliable, punctual, and motivated.
Strong detail orientation.
Computer savvy.
Reliable communication and customer service skills.
H2S Alive and First Aid certifications are required.
