On behalf of our client, a leading vehicle wash services provider, we are conducting a search for a Junior Service Technician to join a dynamic and growing team. About the Role
The Junior Service Technician will work closely with the Service and Operations Teams to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs across multiple industrial sites. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability while minimizing downtime in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks using software, including lubrication, inspections, and mechanical adjustments.
- Manage spare parts inventory at assigned sites, including ordering and inventory counts.
- Support the continuous improvement of the preventative maintenance program.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with site Operations teams and provide visit summaries to site leadership.
- Liaise with third-party service providers for specialized maintenance needs.
- Create work orders for issues requiring further attention.
- Complete minor repairs and assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant maintenance or mechanical experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Familiarity with safety standards related to mechanical and electrical equipment, PPE, and ladder use.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a professional and tactful approach.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
