Position Summary:
We are hiring a Licensed AME or Aircraft Technician with hands-on experience and run qualifications on the ATR 42/72-600 series. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, lead a team of licensed AMEs and apprentices, and support continuous training and operational excellence within the maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform, supervise, and certify maintenance tasks and engine runs on ATR 42/72-600 aircraft in accordance with regulatory and OEM standards
  • Oversee day-to-day line and base maintenance operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance
  • Lead and mentor technicians and apprentices, providing training and skills development
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules, manpower allocation, and ensure timely project delivery
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and quality assurance throughout all tasks
  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, operations, and management regarding ATR maintenance issues
  • Support the development and implementation of internal SOPs and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with all Transport Canada and company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Valid Transport Canada AME License (M2 preferred)
  • Run-up qualified on ATR 42/72-600 aircraft (must be current or recently active)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working on ATR 42/72 series aircraft
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a Part 705 or 145 environment
  • Strong background in technical training, mentoring, or team development
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, hands-on, and proactive approach to aircraft maintenance operations
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
