Test Baker / R&D Speicialist
As a Test Baker for the Research and Development (R&D) area you will be at the forefront of creating baked goods that excite customers. You will collaborate with our passionate team to research, develop, and refine new recipes and baking techniques, ensuring that our products consistently meet the highest standards of taste and quality.
Role is based in Vancouver area.
Responsibilities:

• Experiment with new recipes, ingredients, and baking methods for product innovation.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and product testing to assess taste, texture, appearance, and shelf-life of baked goods.
• Optimize existing recipes for consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Document recipes, procedures, and test results accurately and comprehensively.
• Stay up-to-date with food safety regulations and industry standards relevant to baking and product development.
• Handle Product Life Cycle from concept to launch
• Support marketing efforts by providing technical expertise and product knowledge.
• Other as required

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in baking or culinary research and development.
• Post Secondary from culinary school or related
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
• MS Office skillset

Salary - 75-85,000 range depending on experience.
