Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide monthly bookkeeping and payroll services to clients using the QBO platform, with oversight from your manager.
• Coach and mentor team members, supporting their development.
• Review and approve team members' bookkeeping and sales tax reports.
• Manage client relationships as part of the ARC bookkeeping team.

Required Education and Experience:

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and payroll cycles for small businesses.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a bookkeeper using QBO, Sage, or Xero.

Skills That Make You a Strong Candidate:

• Bookkeeping or Payroll Certification (an asset).
• Experience handling full-cycle bookkeeping for small businesses, including working with year-end accountants.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Strong digital organizational skills (we are a paperless firm).

About the Role:

In this position, you'll manage 8 to 15 small business clients year-round. You'll be responsible for offering bookkeeping services, including:

• Receivables and payables management.
• Payroll.
• Government remittances.
• Reconciliations.
• General ledger management.

You'll become a key part of your clients' operations, helping them streamline their financial processes and contributing to their success.
