- Lead and manage the Estimating Department to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and successful project outcomes
- Collaborate with Project Execution Teams to develop accurate, competitive pricing strategies
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners to support successful bids and long-term collaboration
- Oversee subcontractor selection and negotiation to optimize project delivery
- Drive innovation in estimating practices and processes to improve efficiency and competitiveness
- Set and monitor financial targets in line with strategic business goals
- Guide the preparation of high-quality proposals and bids, ensuring alignment with client expectations
- Assemble and lead cross-functional bid teams to pursue strategic project opportunities
- Maintain and expand a reliable network of subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and adjust pursuit strategies accordingly
- Develop and implement targeted business development strategies to grow the client base and market share
- Lead proposal submissions and bid closings with attention to detail and deadlines
- Maintain an up-to-date directory of suppliers and contractors for estimating and procurement purposes
- Forecast short- and long-term project opportunities and adjust strategies as needed
- Clearly communicate the company's value proposition to prospective clients and partners
- Support early-stage contract negotiations and align offerings with client needs
- Actively contribute to the Senior Leadership Team, supporting broader corporate initiatives
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in estimating, business development, or project execution within the heavy civil or ICI construction sector
- Proven track record in leading high-performing teams and managing complex, revenue-generating initiatives
- Deep understanding of construction risk management, contract negotiation, and financial planning
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship skills
