Position/Term: Temporary/Local Position (Camp provided if not local/Non-FIFO)
Location: Syncrude, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 6 on 1 off; 12-hour day/night shifts

What I will be doing?
- Guide operators using proper spotting techniques during bin service operations
- Direct on-site traffic and assist with securing bins and equipment
- Support general vehicle maintenance and perform routine cleaning of vehicles and trailers
- Report any equipment issues to Safety, Foreperson, or Supervisor to help prevent incidents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, trailers, and work areas
- Operate vehicles and equipment only after receiving proper authorization and sign-off
- Follow all safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Standard Job Procedures (SJP)
- Comply with client site access requirements, including badge swiping at entry and exit points
- Accurately complete and submit required safety and operational forms (e.g., FLRA, Near Miss Cards)
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support safe and efficient service delivery
- Address and resolve minor client concerns and refer client complaints and questions to Leadership
What does Acden need from me?
- Have a “safety-first” attitude
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- Eligible to work on all Acden client sites is required
- Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or BSO certificate, or a combination of CSTS & OSSA is required
- Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing is required; this role is designated as safety-sensitive
What are the 'nice to haves'?
- Experience with spotting or working around heavy equipment is an asset
- knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 SOPs is an asset
