Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shunter Operator to join our Winnipeg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers and containers within the yard and between receiving areas. This role is critical in ensuring the timely flow of raw materials and finished products in a high-demand, bio-secure environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Proven learner, solid work ethic, good communication skills, team player
• Work in safe manner, well-organized, good cleanliness
• Excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills
• Experience in manufacturing or operations environment
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, sometimes odorous environment

Required experience and education:

• Experience in industrial yard safety an asset
• Class 5 driver's license; Shunt, forklift & skid steer experience desirable

• $27.48 Per Hour,
• Shift is 6:15pm to 6:15am, (80hours bi-weekly); Working 7 out of 14 days; Potential for overtime
