South Trail Chrysler is hiring a part-time receptionist to join their team of professionals!
The Receptionist will assist the sales department with various day-to-day needs as well as providing exceptional customer service. Sales Managers or the General Manager may provide direction on tasks that need to be completed throughout the day. Primary areas of focus will be dealing with customers, distributing sales leads and managing the inventory.

Responsibilities:
1. Customers
- Answer phones and greet customers in a professional manner
- Dispatch sales/internet leads to sales consultants
- Collect/Refund customer deposits
- Handle overflow calls from service and take messages if necessary
- Verify customer information (name, address, phone, email) and push deals into Dealer Socket
2. Inventory
- Update invoices from Chrysler into CDK (accounting update, assign stock numbers)
- Stock in vehicles that come in from transport (update CDK)
- Create vehicle files (invoice, NVIS)/key tags/window hangers
- Create PDI work orders for new units that come in from transport
- Input incoming dealer trades into CDK
- Print recalls for vehicles on delivery from Dealerconnect
3. Administrative
- Handle courier incoming/outgoing for sales department
- Order business cards for sales department
- Cheque control (logbook)
- Ensure supplies are adequate (file folders, paper for printer, etc.) in the work space
- Create deal jackets for sales department
- Keep files for vehicles organized and in sequence
- Manage file/key logbook
- Manage dealer plates logbook
- Manage gas cards
4. Other related activity
From time to time, Receptionists will be required to perform other related duties. This will include but not be limited to:
- Dealing with customer issues/complaints
- Handling confidential information according to STC policy
- Assist with various forms and paperwork on behalf of customer and dealership
- Adhere to all policies as outlined in employee handbook
- Refrain from using social media during work hours
- Be at work for a minimum of five minutes before shift begins
- Adhere to Health and Safety policy
- Receptionists are expected to wear appropriate clothing for the workplace.
Qualifications:
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated and organized
- Positive attitude
- Courteous and professional to staff and customers
- Ensure required tasks are completed as requested in a timely and accurate manner
- A valid Alberta Driver's License
- Adhere to all company policy as outlined in the employee handbook
- Adhere to and participate fully with STC health & safety policy
