As the Store Manager of our brand-new, state-of-the-art collision repair facility in New Glasgow, you'll play a key role in launching operations and leading the team from day one. Alongside managing daily workflow and delivering exceptional customer service, youll help establish processes, set standards, and build the stores culture.
Youll oversee technicians and administrative staff, handle scheduling, support customer satisfaction, and manage vendor relationships. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication, along with a balance of hands-on oversight and strategic planning.
Your experience in collision repair, team leadership, and customer engagement will be essential to driving success as we bring CARSTARs reputation for quality to the New Glasgow community.

- Ability to motivate your team to achieve common goals
- Valid Canadian Driver's License required
- Leadership: Lead and inspire the team to establish strong performance and culture
- Customer Service: Exceptional communication and service skills for client and team interactions
- Organization: Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of collision repair processes and estimating systems
- Management Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Computer Proficiency: Skilled in estimating and workflow software (Mitchell, Audatex, etc.)
- Initiative and Reliability: Self-driven and dependable, especially during the launch phase
- Multitasking: Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and calm under pressure
- Professional Presentation: Represents the brand and facility with professionalism and polish
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with industry changes and technology
- Knowledge of Mitchell and Audatex estimating systems is a strong asset (but not required)
MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Startup Support: Assist in setting up and organizing the new facility, including vendor setup, layout planning, and readiness for opening day
- Facilitate a positive and productive work environment by recognizing team success
- Provide daily leadership and guidance to help the team meet performance goals
- Customer Interaction: Ensure excellent service throughout the repair process and resolve any concerns
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the stores day-to-day operations with attention to efficiency and quality
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets CARSTARs high standards and industry regulations
- Vendor Relations: Set up and maintain effective supplier and partner relationships
- Workflow Coordination: Streamline processes to enhance efficiency.
- Compliance: Maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Problem Solving: Address challenges with proactive and effective solutions
- Communication: Encourage open, clear communication between staff, customers, and insurers
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, professional, and well-functioning facility
- Customer Satisfaction: Track and enhance customer satisfaction and return rates
