Position Overview:
We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Overnight Heavy-Duty Cleaner to join our team at a large warehouse and distribution center located in Ajax. This is a full-time position that requires physical stamina, strong attention to detail, and previous experience in industrial or warehouse cleaning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Cleaning Duties:

• Sweep and mop warehouse floors, including in between racking/aisles and around machinery.
• Operate a walk-behind floor scrubber to clean wide and narrow warehouse zones.
• Remove dirt, debris, and dust buildup to maintain clean and safe flooring conditions.
• Collect and remove garbage and recycling from bins throughout the warehouse.
• Re-line all bins after emptying.

Washroom Cleaning:

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect restroom stalls, toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Restock soap, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers.
• Sweep and mop washroom floors with appropriate disinfectants.

Office & Lunchroom Cleaning:

• Dust, wipe, and sanitize desks, chairs, light switches, door handles, and shared equipment.
• Clean and disinfect lunchroom tables, chairs, counters, appliances, and sinks.
• Remove trash and recyclables, reline bins, and tidy common spaces.

Qualifications:

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial cleaning experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and follow cleaning protocols.
• Familiarity with floor scrubber equipment (ride-on and push-behind machines).
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
