THE ROLE
The Studio Coordinator role is perfect for someone passionate about global television sales and marketing. You thrive in fast-paced environments, bring a sharp eye for detail, and have a solid understanding of the production process. You're a proactive self-starter who loves juggling multiple priorities and rising to the challenge under pressure.
This role is based in Toronto, ON and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee Boat Rocker's Airtable workspace, ensuring accurate tracking of development and distribution projects and new content submissions.
  • Serve as the central point of contact between Creative, Rights, and other internal teams to ensure alignment between the creative vision and business strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Boat Rocker Sales Team to evaluate the viability of new acquisitions and original productions, leveraging insights into market demand, platform trends, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive database that tracks global buyer preferences, platform requirements, and past purchasing trends to guide pitch strategies and content development.
  • Support the end-to-end content pipeline, from early-stage development through final delivery.
  • Track and organize all incoming content submissions, coordinating with internal stakeholders for review and feedback, and ensuring efficient documentation and follow-up.
  • Provide research and logistical support to distribution and sales teams, assisting in the preparation of pitch decks and presentations.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a corporate / creative setting.
  • Knowledge of Airtable is an asset.
  • Video and photo editing experience.
  • Self starter, highly organized, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Approach challenges with curiosity and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in an environment with dynamic priorities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency to situations that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite of applications and general comfort with learning new software applications.
  • Previous experience in entertainment/media sector or enthusiasm for the industry is considered an asset.
