Accountant / Bookkeeper (Part-Time, 1–2 Days per Week)
Boutique Catering Company – Toronto, ON

We are a high-end catering company serving prominent industry clients and are seeking a part-time Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team 1–2 days per week. This is an on-site role ideal for an experienced financial professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable management

  • Payroll processing and remittances

  • HST preparation and filings

  • Monthly credit card reconciliations

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger

  • Job costing and expense tracking by event

  • Monthly financial reporting for management

  • Petty cash management

  • Occasional filing and general office duties

  • Assist management with financial tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or business administration

  • 2–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience

  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

  • Comfortable working on Mac OS

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly reliable

  • Self-managed with strong follow-through

  • Professional demeanor and clear communication skills
