Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our Marina operations, ensuring the safe operation of various heavy equipment. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Possibility of marine mechanic apprenticeship possible to right candidate.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and trucks and trailers to move boats and other items within the Marina
• Assist with various marina and dock maintenance and construction projects.
• Keep marina clean and dispose of garbage.
• Assist mechanic with delivery of boats. Assist with spring and fall haul out and launch
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in construction and asset
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation is highly desirable.
• G licence with good driving record. Experience with trailers an asset
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts atvs snowmobiles and boats.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and dependability
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects as required by the job duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
