Are you an ambitious problem-solver ready to take your first step into the consulting world? We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented Associate Consultant to join our collaborative and fast-paced Managed Services team!
Location: Canada, Remote
Employment Type: 6 months contract (possibility of extension)
What You'll Do:
- Assist with technical support: Help troubleshoot and resolve support tickets related to IAM/PAM deployments, including system configurations, user access issues, and integration support.
- Monitor system health: Support ongoing monitoring of logs, alerts, and incident dashboards; escalate issues to engineering or managed-services teams as needed.
- Knowledge-base development: Collaborate in creating and maintaining internal documentation and customer-facing guides for onboarding, troubleshooting SOPs, and FAQ updates.
- Participate in onboarding: Assist in sandbox environment setups for new clients and contribute to pilot deployments under senior guidance.
- Shadow engineering activities: Observe and support deployment and integration tasks (e.g. Okta, ForgeRock, ping) and take part in internal training sessions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Engineering, Managed Services, and Sales to relay client feedback, document recurring issues, and propose technical improvements.
What We're Looking For:
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
- Exposure to OAuth and SAML protocols.
- Some exposure to IAM/PAM tools, security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), or scripting languages (bash, Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity or in technical support/administrative support roles #LI-RJ1
