Peter Lucas is looking for a Construction Coordinator to join the team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who thrives in complex, multi-disciplinary environments and is experienced in contractor oversight, safety, and quality control.

As a key member of the project and construction team, you will be responsible for managing the construction phase of various projects and leading the development and execution of effective construction management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all contractors operate in compliance with the Canada Labour Code and Ontario Regulation for Construction Projects.
  • Monitor and manage the safety, environmental, quality, and security performance of contractors.
  • Assist with cost control by verifying that all work complies with contract requirements.
  • Oversee the timely submission of construction documentation and as-built records.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site stakeholders to address project requests and implement changes as needed.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction management and contractor quality control.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Practical understanding of safe work practices in complex site environments.
  • Experience with commissioning and debugging equipment, including electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.

Assets:

  • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
