Member Experience Representative

Branch Location: This position allows for flexibility of location within any of our branches on PEI

What Youll Do:

  • Provides assistance in resolving account related problems or refers to the appropriate personnel to rectify. Assists members with making the most effective use of digital service offerings.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge of the position by completing training and development in areas related to the Member Advice Centre.
  • Uses Know Your Member (KYM) to track requests, update member information and refer to other personnel or departments as required.
  • Cross sells credit union products and services and assists members to utilize these products and services digitally. Maintains confidentiality of member information and ensures all internal material is kept secure as all times.
  • Schedule appointments for members and provide information regarding specific documentation that may be required.
  • Assists members with card services including debit, Debit MasterCard and Collabria Credit cards.
  • Proactively encourages member to use self-service technologies such as ATMs, online banking, mobile banking, E-Statements, direct deposit, and guides members to use digital services.
  • Provides account services to members in a courteous and professional manner by receiving, processing and recording financial transactions when required.

What You Have:

Required Education and Experience

  • Completion of Business or Office Administration certificate or diploma or have a minimum of two-year related experience in a customer service role, in the financial industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Member Service Orientation: Demonstrates a proactive and friendly approach to engaging with members, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and convey information clearly.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using and demonstrating digital platforms and tools such as ATMs, mobile banking, online banking systems, and general office applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
