We are seeking a journeyman carpenter to join our company. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in construction, who is not afraid to learn something new, who is teachable, and who is able to come along a crew and work together to rebuild the right way. Applicant needs to be able to lift heavy items such as plywood, beams, windows and doors, as well as following engineer specs while working in a safe environment.
Our small company allows you to travel the city doing multiple types of jobs on sites ranging from one-week to six-months in length.
Key Responsibilities
- Make sure the site is clean.
- Follow safety procedures, and attend safety meetings on each site.
- Work in the demolition of exterior items such as, but not limited to: old siding, vinyl decking, rotten beams, rotten plywood, old windows, old doors, and interior casings.
- Installing new products such as, but not limited to: new plywood, new cladding, metalwork, windows, doors, casings, and sloping decks, while following the engineer's Specs
- Loading and setting up tools from the trailer.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of work in the construction field.
- Journeyman ticket
- Siding, framing, or window and door installation experience is an advantage.
- First Aid, Fall Pro, or Elevated Platform work tickets are useful but not required.
- Have your vehicle to get to work.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
