Are you a skilled Drafting Detailer with experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals? Muia Steel Ltd. is growing and we're looking for a talented, detail-oriented professional to join our team in Brampton!

Position Overview:

This onsite, full-time role involves preparing shop and installation drawings using Advance Steel with AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience in steel detailing and a strong understanding of structural and miscellaneous steel applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare detailed drawings using Advance Steel/AutoCAD

• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance

• Create complete documentation and drawing sets

Qualifications:

• College/CEGEP diploma in a relevant field (Architectural, Civil, or Industrial Tech)

• Minimum 5 years' drafting/detailing experience in structural & miscellaneous steel

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Advance Steel, and ideally Tekla

• Familiarity with welding symbols

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Asset Skills:

• Experience with Bluebeam, Steel Solutions, Visual Solutions, Beam Cut Soft

• Tekla Structures

• CAD proficiency

• MS Windows environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting at $25/hour (based on experience)
