Digital Health, a service of Shared Health, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to support a province-wide healthcare transformation initiative. This project focuses on leveraging information and communication technology (ICT) to improve the delivery of healthcare across Manitoba. The goal is to modernize and streamline provincial information management systems and IT infrastructure in alignment with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and management of project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Monitor and report project progress to steering committees and key stakeholders.
Manage infrastructure upgrade projects, including legacy system replacement and system decommissioning.
Plan and organize information security initiatives aligned with international frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and PCI.
Oversee and coordinate a multi-year, multi-stream IT transformation program with multiple vendors and project teams.
Manage the implementation of IntelliSpace Cardiovascular (ISCV) system software in healthcare environments.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (mandatory)
PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification (mandatory)
Management of Risk (MoR) certification
Prosci (ADKAR) Change Management certification
Proof of certifications must be provided upon application.
Experience Requirements:10+ years of experience as a Project Manager developing plans, budgets, and reporting structures.
5+ years of hands-on project management experience involving infrastructure upgrades and system decommissioning, with a strong focus on legacy replacement.
1+ year of experience leading information security-related projects using internationally recognized standards.
3+ years of experience managing a multi-year IT transformation program, including multiple concurrent project streams and vendor coordination.
2+ years of experience managing the implementation of IntelliSpace Cardiovascular (ISCV) systems in healthcare settings.
