About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Service Advisor. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3–5 years' experience in this role. Primary Job Responsibilities
- Handle client service appointments
- Complete vehicle walk-arounds
- Write client repair orders and assist with diagnosing service issues
- Present maintenance schedule recommendations
- Prepare time and price estimates for service and parts
- Keep in constant contact with clients, updating them via phone, email, and chat
- Process client payments
- Schedule future service appointments
- Support with service and parts initiatives and processes as required
- Advise customers about necessary service for routine maintenance
- Review inspection results with customers, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work orders for needed repairs
- Explain the work performed and repair order charges to the customer
- Establish “promised time” and coordinate with the Tower Operator, if needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–3 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Automotive dealership or similar experience is an asset
- Previous experience with General Motors is an asset
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong work ethic and hustle to make it happen every day
- Willingness to go the extra mile to create an extraordinary customer experience
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Positive, customer-oriented attitude
- Excellent in-person and phone customer service skills
