LTL Contracting Ltd. is seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our team. As a Labourer, you will assist with a variety of tasks on construction sites to help ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and be part of a supportive, fast-paced work environment.
Rotation & Travel Details:
- Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
- Fly in / fly out
- Accommodations provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and preparing construction sites by clearing obstacles, assembling materials, and organizing equipment
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and other construction equipment as directed
- Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and waste
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, masons, and equipment operators
- Follow site safety protocols and ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work well within a team and follow direction
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Location Notice:
This position is for a project located at Musselwhite Mine. While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, we strongly encourage applications from individuals residing in or near the surrounding areas such as Fort Frances, Kenora, Dryden and other nearby communities. Preference may be given to candidates who are local to the project site due to logistical and operational considerations.
