Position: Automotive & Small Engine Mechanic Full Time

This opportunity as an Automotive and Small Engine Mechanic will be primarily working on heavy and medium duty trucks, as well as, small tools and field equipment. Journeyman certificate is required.

Requires Knowledge of:

• Fuel injection systems
• Engine control systems
• lubrication systems
• Cooling systems
• Exhaust systems
• Small Tools, Chainsaws, Generators, Etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various automotive systems, ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Diagnose mechanical issues as they arise.
• Utilize hand and power tools to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently.
• Requisition new parts, track all costs related to vehicle and equipment repairs.
• Welding repairs as required.
• Collaborate with team members to complete complex tasks, including welding and assembly when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Travel to work sites as needed, access to company vehicle. Tools provided.
