Position: Marketing Coordinator

Region: Richmond Hill, ON

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Anticipated Start Date: March 1, 2022

SUMMARY:

The Affinity Group Marketing Coordinator is to work with the Marketing team to manage Trade Notifications, POS, POP, manage product presentations, and assist with food show management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare e-campaigns and communications
  • POS and POP Management
  • Creating Product Presentations
  • Assist with Food show Management
  • Educate customers and sales team about terminology, features, and benefits of products to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining product specifications sheets for client portfolios
  • Assisting in developing marketing and sales presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Prepare and manage all Trade notifications
  • Ensure consistency across Affinity and client assets and tools
  • Special projects as required

The successful candidates must possess the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative and project management within a team environment. Marketing experience considered an asset.
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills with the ability to make critical decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced skills in Adobe/Illustrator/Canva
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to build productive partnerships with management, staff, and external partners.
  • Critical thinker and ability to escalate when support is needed in a timely manner.
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Professional image at all times
  • Outgoing and mature
  • A team player
  • Must be passionate about food

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Work may be performed in an office, warehouse, or restaurant environment.
  • Stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb.
  • May have possible exposure to dust and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible work hours to accommodate demands of position (some weekends included)
  • May require travel and some overnights may be required
