About Us
Stagecoach Performing Arts has been inspiring and enriching young lives through the performing
arts for over 30 years. With a global network of over 300 schools, we are proud to deliver high-
quality, confidence-building classes in singing, dance, and drama for students aged 4–18.
At Stagecoach, we believe in Creative Courage for Life® — giving students the skills they
need to express themselves, build confidence, and thrive both on stage and in life.

About the Role
We are currently seeking a friendly, responsible, and enthusiastic Early Stages Assistant to
support our youngest performers (ages 4–6) during their Saturday morning classes. This is a
fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, has a passion for the
performing arts, and is eager to learn in a creative and fast-paced environment.
As an Early Stages Assistant, you'll work closely with the lead teacher to ensure classes run
smoothly and students are supported, engaged, and safe. Your responsibilities will include
helping with classroom setup, transitions between drama, dance, and singing activities,
supporting individual students who may need extra guidance, leading simple warm-ups or
games, and encouraging participation with a positive and caring approach. In this role, you'll
play a key role in creating a fun and supportive environment where young children can thrive
and explore the joy of the performing arts, maybe even sparking a life-long passion!

Qualifications:
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Has an interest in performing arts (theatre, dance, or music)
• Enjoys working with young children
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to take direction
• Comfortable assisting in a classroom setting and working as part of a team
• Punctual and committed to attending every Saturday during term time (fall, winter, and
spring)• Vulnerable Sector Police Check, if possible (or willingness to obtain one)

Why Join Stagecoach:
• Be part of a supportive and inspiring team
• Gain valuable experience in performing arts and early childhood education
• Opportunities for training and mentorship
• A chance to make a difference in the lives of young children
• A joyful, creative atmosphere where your contributions are valued

To Apply:
Please submit a short resume and a brief note telling us about yourself, your interest in this role,
and any relevant experience. We encourage applications from high school or university students
who are responsible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Only those selected for an interview will be
contacted.
