Allied Reliability is seeking a talented and driven Director of Manufacturing Engineering to join our growing team. Director of Manufacturing Engineering Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Streamline manufacturing operations
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
  • Ensure efficiency of all labor and meeting on hour standards for tasks.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design and development of new products and processes.
  • Manage and support the implementation of new equipment and technology to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and other departments to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Conduct cost analysis and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and progress.
  • Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Director of Manufacturing Engineering Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
  • Must be able to travel between the US and Canada and have a valid passport
  • Must be able to undertake a manufacturing startup, including layout, equipment needs, power requirements and processes.
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings, review all mathematical calculations for accuracy and adherence to order specifications
