Position: Material Handler/Warehouse Supervisor
- Build product orders for delivery by hand and using a forklift safely.
- Proficient with safe Sit-Down Counterbalance operation.
- Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
- Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of orders prior to delivery.
- Complete and maintain necessary delivery paperwork and any applicable requirements for tracking.
- Work with store units to coordinate paperwork.
- Fill storage racks when stock is low.
- Inspect all items for mislabels and defects.
- Identify all products and locations by using vendor, item numbers, pack size, code dates, and descriptions to ensure the product is moved to the correct location.
- Ensure warehouse operations are always in compliance with WorkSafe Standards.
- Assemble orders and over-length materials, identify products from transfer requests, locate material, count quantity, build and secure loads.
- Operate forklift to prepare transfers, transport material, load and unload transfer vehicles.
- Review daily schedule of pre-booked incoming deliveries. Ensure storage space is available.
- Receive unscheduled deliveries as the facility will permit.
- Ensure inventory adjustment sheets are updated.
- Document and process delivery returns ensuring merchandise is returned to stock or to the supplier.
- Ensure all lifts are piled evenly with no leans and compliant with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly yard and warehouse as directed.
- Perform other job-related duties as required, including but not limited to snow plowing, container moving, warehouse maintenance, and any other specialized moves that would require heavy equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Full Time: 30 hours per week
Salary: $22-$26 per hour
