Standard Working Hours: Mon - Fri | 7:00 am – 4:00pm|42.5 hours per week

Job Description:
We're looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our fast-paced service team. If you have a proven track record in shipping and receiving and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect role for you. In this position, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of parts, maintaining accurate inventory, and occasionally assisting customers at the parts counter.

What You'll Do:

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or packing slips and reporting discrepancies.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately, ensuring proper labeling and timely delivery to customers or other locations.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, including stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and managing storage areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to safely move, load, and unload inventory. Maintain current forklift certification and participate in ongoing training to ensure safe and efficient operation of material-handling equipment.
  • Serve as a Parts Counterperson during employee absences or sick days, assisting customers with part selection, pricing, and orders.
  • Perform regular inventory counts, including cycle counts, to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve shipping or inventory issues, ensuring timely resolution of delays or errors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers, resolving inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements related to shipping and receiving.
  • Assist with parts procurement, including sourcing and special-order requests, to meet customer needs and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Organize and maintain core bank and perform core returns as per Paccar and supplier policies and procedures.
  • Perform obsolesce and monthly returns and keeps records of as per Paccar policies and procedures.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role. Experience in parts and logistics is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.

Additional Strengths:

  • Familiarity with inventory management software would be considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in inventory or shipments.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, particularly in a retail or parts environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
