We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Optimization Analyst to oversee and optimize costs across our global operations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of procurement and budgeting, and the ability to manage cost audits across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage global expenses, ensuring they align with company budgets and forecasts.
  • Track utility costs across all locations and ensure they remain within budgeted thresholds.
  • Identify and report on cost overruns and propose corrective actions.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers and vendors to secure cost-effective contracts.
  • Review and evaluate vendor performance to ensure value for money and service level compliance.:
  • Analyze global cost trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on cost performance and efficiency metrics to management.
  • Conduct regular audits of stationery and office supply usage to prevent waste and reduce unnecessary expenditure.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies for office supplies, energy usage, and general procurement.
  • Collaborate with finance teams and procurement departments to standardize cost control processes.
  • Ensure consistency in cost management practices across North American and LATAM
  • Ensure that all procurement and cost control activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of cost analyses, audit results, and vendor agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of experience in cost analysis, procurement, or experience in utilities cost management or facilities expense tracking.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools like Power BI is an asset
