About the Role
Davidson & Company is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join our IT Department. The IT Analyst is responsible for assessing, troubleshooting and improving Davidsons IT infrastructure and systems as well as providing frontline technical support to end-users. Occasional after hours and on call support is required in this role.
What Youll Do
Service Desk Support:
- First-Line Support: Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues via phone, email, or in person, providing exceptional customer service and timely resolutions.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Ticketing System: Log and manage service requests through the helpdesk system, ensuring accurate tracking, follow-up, and resolution within agreed timeframes.
- User Support & Training: Assist users with system setup, application installations, and general IT support; provide training and guidance on IT tools and best practices.
- Incident Escalation: Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for common support issues, system configurations, and IT processes to improve overall efficiency.
- User Administration: Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and deactivation of user accounts across all IT systems.
- IT Asset Management: Maintain the IT asset management tracking system for any asset additions, changes or deletions.
IT Infrastructure/Systems Support:
- Server Administration: Support the troubleshooting and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
- Network Administration: Support the troubleshooting and maintenance of networking services ensuring systems are functioning as expected.
- Systems Administration: Support the installation, patching, testing and troubleshooting of software applications ensuring optimal performance, security and availability.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of work experience supporting IT operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurity.

Salary
At Davidson, we value consistency and transparency regarding compensation. The annual salary for this position is
$80,000 $100,000 per year.
