About the Opportunity
Our client is a modern, physician-led medical group operating a mid-sized, well-established clinic in central Calgary. With a strong administrative backbone and a diverse patient population, the clinic offers a turnkey opportunity for a licensed Family Physician or Specialist looking to join a thriving outpatient environment. Physicians can expect a seamless start, with a full patient panel ready for handover including detailed patient histories and well-maintained electronic charting.

The clinic also has a demand from Mandarin-speaking patients actively seeking a dedicated family physician. In addition to long-term continuity care, there is also a flexible opening for a walk-in physician 23 days per week.

Compensation & Practice Details

  • Annual Income Potential: CA$250,000 to CA$650,000
  • Fee Split: 70/30 (overhead included)
  • Practice Options: Negotiable take over an existing panel or start fresh
  • Schedule: Flexible weekdays and optional Saturdays (9:00am5:00pm)
  • No on-call or overnight duties

  • Mid-sized clinic with up to 14 fully equipped exam rooms

  • Paperless EMR system (CHR)
  • Competent and friendly admin and clinical support team, including LPNs, booking, referral, and billing clerks
  • In-house pediatrician and multiple specialties onsite
  • Only 5 minutes from downtown Calgary

Patient Demographics & Acquisition

  • Immediate handover of existing panel with complete documentation
  • Opportunity to bring your own patients or grow a new roster
  • Patient population includes:
    • Immigrant communities, including Mandarin speakers
    • College and university students
    • Adults, children, and families
    • Patients with chronic conditions, developmental disabilities, and mental health needs
    • Predominantly middle-to-high income individuals

Requirements

  • Full license (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
  • Certification in Family Medicine or a recognized specialty
  • Comfort working in a collaborative outpatient setting
  • Experience with CHR EMR preferred
