We are a successful construction and design build engineering firm, entering its 34th year of operations, with over 60 employees in the field. We are expanding our presence in Calgary, AB and looking to add a Journeyman Carpenter to the team!

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the lead Superintendent and/or the Assistant Superintendent to deliver construction projects with top notch workmanship, in a safe manner, while adhering to schedules and with efficiency

Job Duties:

• Work on the tools with proficiency and accuracy
• Install wood framing, plywood and miscellaneous blocking, etc.
• Concrete formwork
• Install millwork, doors, frames and hardware
• Work independently when required
• General labor duties, including clean up as required

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyman
• 5+ years of experience in the industry
• Trade certification
• Driver's license & transportation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of AOH&S safety standards
• Ability to effectively and responsibly lead others
