Brake Press Operator

Main Duties

Responsible for set up and operation of CNC Amada brake press (8ft)

Understanding of operation and setup of Pullmax Brake Press (12ft) , Cincinnati Brake Press (12ft) is an Asset.

Knowledge and Ability to Apply/Use Metric Dimensions.

Able to form Aluminum and Steel Components to Manufacturing Drawing Specifications

Ability to read a Measuring Tape, Manufacturing Drawings, Calipers and Protractors

Adhere to Company Safety Procedures and Protocol

Flexible and Adaptable to high and low volume products or parts

Computer knowledge - Email, MS Office, ERP etc

Communicate Continuous Improvement Opportunities to Team Lead or Supervisor

Growth Opportunities for other Manufacturing Equipment

Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

Mechanical Aptitude and Attention to Detail.

Strong communication skills

0-2 years of Brake Press Experience (onsite training)

Mathematical Skill Set

Ability to work Independently and in a Team Environment

Understanding of Metal Fabrication Processes

Ability to use Manual Equipment is an asset
