Our client is a busy, growing manufacturing company in the Lower Mainland.
This role is to lead and oversee a team of 10+ staff and all financial functions of the manufacturing company, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management. The Head of Finance will play a key role in driving profitability, cost efficiency, and financial sustainability across all business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Provide financial forecasts, scenario modeling, and long-term financial planning.
- Advise the senior management team on financial performance and key metrics.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor and control operational and capital expenditures.
- Implement cost control measures and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Oversee cash flow planning, working capital optimization, and liquidity management.
- Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.
- Other as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional accounting certification / CPA .
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
