Position: Cabinet Maker

Education Required:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

• 1 to less than 7 months of related experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers

• Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made

• Trim joints, fit parts, and assemble subcomponents into complete units

• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish

• Prepare and apply laminated plastics

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Manual dexterity

• Strong attention to detail

• Standing for extended periods

Requirements:

• Steel-toed safety boots (own equipment)
