Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.Position: Senior Controls EngineerLocation: Pickering, ON Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)Industry: Manufacturing / Electrical Engineer / Controls & Automation / IndustrialEmployment Term: Fulltime / Permanent Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of automation and control system.
- Prepare and review technical design documentation.
- Program and commission PLC and HMI systems and build systems from the ground up for turnkey solutions.
- Monitor project progress to maintain timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical support to client's post-installation.
- Mentor Junior team members and engineers.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years related Controls Engineer experience, preferably in an Automation environment.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI systems, instrumentation, and SCADA
- Experience designing complex systems
- Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to travel to customer sites as needed.
