In this position as the Marketing Manager for our Hematology / Oncology Business Unit, you will develop and implement strategic business and marketing plans for the Oncology product portfolio in collaboration with cross-functional partners and the Business Unit Director.

You will be someone who is comfortable to attend the office 3 days a week and who thrives in an environment of rapid change, having strong communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams, and have a problem-solving, analytical skills and patient-centric mindset.


Responsibilities:

· Lead the cross-functional therapeutic area team to support implementation of Canadian brand strategy for all products in the Oncology portfolio in collaboration with the Business Unit Director.

· Support the development of cross-functional tactical plans and ensure execution of marketing tactics by initiating and leading projects to support products at various stages of their life cycle, including launch.

· Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and oversee the development of digital marketing campaigns including on-line advertising and email marketing.

· Establish and execute short and long-term business goals for products which align strategically with partner manufacturers' visions.

· Generate and consolidate key insights across stakeholders through advisory boards, consultancy meetings, market research, etc.

· Engage with key HCPs for oncology to understand academic and community challenges and opportunities and develop advocates.

· Support the sales team with training on brand strategy, product messaging and materials.

· Manage agency partners to ensure on budget and timely deliverables.

· Collaborate with Medison's medical and regulatory review committee to ensure compliance with all company SOPs including those related to the approval of materials for external use with customers.

· Responsible for reporting adverse events to the third-party PV service provider in a timely manner.

· Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

· Passion for improving patient outcomes and making a difference in oncology care.

· Be willing and able to travel (nationally and internationally); Travel could be up to 25% of time.

· Attend local, regional, and national meetings as required.

· Evening and weekend work will be occasionally required.

· Perform required administrative duties including expense and marketing reports.

· Work within the regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.

External Interface: HCPs, PSP, Manufacturer partners, Vendors


Requirements:

Education, Credentials & Work Experience

· Minimum: Bachelor's degree: preference for Science, HealthCare, or Business

· Commercial experience in healthcare / biopharmaceuticals which includes:

o Minimum of 4 years of experience in biopharmaceutical marketing

o Minimum of 2 years of experience in biopharmaceutical sales with a focus on specialty products and institutional sales

· Oncology experience strongly preferred

Qualifications & Competencies:

· Ability to work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to align work efforts and ensure execution.

· Leads by example and demonstrates high level of partnership and collaboration with partners and external counterparts.

· Ability to work independently to execute against approved plans under tight timelines.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation delivery, and interpersonal skills to be effective in a team environment.

· Demonstrated persuasive, solution-oriented approach to articulate value propositions and negotiate commitment.

· Experience developing digital programs and solutions.

· Understanding of hematology / oncology treatment landscape.

· Possess excellent scientific acumen and knowledge of product development, regulatory, market access, clinical, and medical affairs.

· Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to achieve superior results.

· Knowledge of marketplace regulations and industry promotional policy.

· A solid compliance mindset and demonstrated integrity on the job.

· Understanding of local managed markets (public and private) and institutional/hospital environments.

· Be computer literate including ability to use MS Office and Veeva.

· French language is an asset.
