About the role
As a Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for interacting with our friendly customers, providing helpful information to pet parents, and overseeing point-of-sale transactions.
What you'll be doing:
- Interact with customers and provide helpful information and recommendations on our products
- Cashier and customer sales
- Inventory, stocking shelves and assist in unloading deliveries
- Answering phone calls
- General store maintenance functions including sweeping and keeping the store presentable
- Other duties and tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Love interacting with dogs
- Experience in the pet care industry an asset
- Experience in customer service and/or retail experience
- Must have experience with pets or own your own pet(s)
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Enthusiasm for learning & growth in pet care industry
- Possess outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills
- Great communication skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs

Salary: $18.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Weekend shifts: 10:30am-6pm
- Option to take on additional weekday shifts (11:30am-7:30pm)
