About the role

As a Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for interacting with our friendly customers, providing helpful information to pet parents, and overseeing point-of-sale transactions.

What you'll be doing:

• Interact with customers and provide helpful information and recommendations on our products
• Cashier and customer sales
• Inventory, stocking shelves and assist in unloading deliveries
• Answering phone calls
• General store maintenance functions including sweeping and keeping the store presentable
• Other duties and tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Love interacting with dogs
• Experience in the pet care industry an asset
• Experience in customer service and/or retail experience
• Must have experience with pets or own your own pet(s)
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Enthusiasm for learning & growth in pet care industry
• Possess outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills
• Great communication skills
• Ability to lift 25 lbs

Salary: $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Weekend shifts: 10:30am-6pm
• Option to take on additional weekday shifts (11:30am-7:30pm)
